U.S. Senate Never Approved Obama's Iran Nuclear Deal

A September 18, 2020 letter, published in the New Journal, falsely claimed "In 2015, the U.S. Senate approved the Iran nuclear deal, 98-1." The Constitution requires a two-thirds majority Senate vote to approve treaties, but President Obama did not even submit the deal because he knew it would not be approved.  The 98-1 vote was on the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015 to force the president to get congressional approval.
