Tim Carney 

     On October 16, 2016, members and guests of the Conservative Caucus of Delaware gathered in Harry's Savoy Ballroom for our 21st Annual Banquet. One of the highlights was a talk by Timothy Carney, senior political columnist for the Washington Examiner. The title of his talk was "Populism, Conservatism and Election 2016.

     Mr. Carney got his start in Washington, D.C. working under the direction of the late Robert Novak, initially as a investigative reporter and later as editor of the Evans-Novak Political Report.  He also authored two books: The Big Ripoff in 2006 and Obamanomics (2009).
